Hi Folks
Have a question in regards to a 1922 Peace dollar. The Peace dollar in question has several die gouges on the obverse of the coin. One runs from the lower portion of the neck, across the neck and up through the t in trust. The second die gouge runs from the top of the 1 in the date through the bottom point of the neck. There is also a die gouge that runs through the spikes below the letter b over to the letter r in liberty and also a die gouge that runs through the hair bun.. I checked the VAM site and one of the gouges fits this VAM and the other gouges fit other vams but nothing matches exactly. My question is can it be a series of vams or not. Hope this makes sense. I included 2 photos of the coin but am unable to get good photos of the gouges. Thanks for any info.

No, it cannot be a series of VAM.

Each Die has it's own characteristic, therefore no two dies are exactly the same.
