Checked in with Canada Post earlier today about my order for a Two Loons dollar coin. I was told that the RCM has informed them that the coins won't be available until sometime in September. I don't know if the RCM is reporting similar new delays, but wanted to share what I was told from CP. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.

I received my two loons coin from Canada Post last week that I ordered May 22. I also have an order from RCM placed on the same day that has yet to ship. |

I haven't received a lot of stuff. Including the the Two Loons.
I also haven't received the silver lucky loonie (or the uncirculated packs). Their kind of pointless, now they've missed the Olympics.

I called the Mint yesterday. I was told the Two Loons coin won't be shipping until the end of September.
The nice lady on the phone told me all colorized coins have had delay issues this year.

I just received an email from the mint today that my two loons and lucky silver loonie have finally shipped. I ordered on May 14. So others still waiting might be getting theirs as well.

Same here, received confirmation email earlier today.  Still waiting for my glass bee, grosbeak, and glow in the dark dino. @Shopaholic, I'm sure yours is coming, hang in there. Edited by Mrpiedfort

I got conformation that the test token set was shipped but nothing about the two loons or silver lucky loonie

I'm still waiting for test token and crystal flower... I've received everything else. Xmas is coming and many more coins to buy.

You all seem to be doing well. I'm waiting on Dinos, Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, special uncirculated set, Two Loons, Lucky Loonie, Circulation Coins and Test Tokens, and Evening Grosbeak. All ordered in the first hour that they were available to MC. |

Strange. Circulation test token set was sitting in my mailbox today. No e-mail notification, no signature at the door.  Oh well, one less on the waiting list. FYI, these are the latest shipping dates per the mint.caTwo Loons - Sept 28 Dino - Oct 31 Evening Grosbeak - Sept 21 Red-breasted Grosbeak - Oct 2 Lucky Loonie - Sept 7 Test Set - Sept 14 Edit:3PM just got e-mail notification that one of my Two Loons has shipped. Edit:8PM just got e-mail notification that another of my Two Loons and a Lucky Loonie were shipped. Letter Carrier is gonna get a hernia this week.  Edited by CC-Ottawa

Maybe it's just me, but those expected shipping dates are almost always misleading. For example, the Two Loons expected shipping date still says Sept. 28, but quite a number of people have already received email notifications confirming their coins have been shipped. |

Both items I got today (Grey Cup Silver Dollar and Security test tokens) BOTH arrived today, Sept. 10th.
Funny thing, both are marked on the mint's website "Shipping 2012-09-14"
so they are getting on top of the orders - finally.
