I just recently started searching for unique coins and found this Wheat penny. It looks like it may be an error coin. Half the word 'trust' is missing, the '4' in 1940 looks awkward and (its hard to tell) the 'r' in 'liberty' almost looks like a 'b'. I cannot find out anything about it online. I was wondering if you could tell me for sure if it is an error and, if so, whats the value of something like this.

To CCF!

Not an error. See how the metal in trust looks pushed out toward the rim? Likely caused by a rolling machine.

Maybe that year the mint wasn't completely trusting God because the war was coming.
