Dear Friends Today out of 1,000 Pennys I found this nice 1982 Penny. If this is a real US-Mint Error, its a Biggest one I have held in my hands yet.

PS:The line-cut starts from the Top and then stops around the jacket and then starts over again.A while ago I heard there is specail place where to sell stuck-thru-Errors online, any Tips?

I'd lean towards PMD. Maybe something sharp came down on it with some force.

I have to agree with PMD, as I would think the copper surface inside the indent would show the same brown color as the rest of the coin. Due to the red of the copper, I lean toward something happening to this coin pretty recently.

Yeah thats another thing, The exposure of the inner copper should tone with the rest of it through its life in circulation. Looks too fresh

Note the rim is pushed out. If it were struck trough the rim would be indented not push out. This is PMD
