Hi All would be interested in an estimated grade on this one.I have noticed that a lot of 1922 sixpences have a convex shaped reverse as does this one which would increase the susceptability to wear on that side

I would say the reverse is gF-aVF and the obverse is VF-gVF. Nice obverse die crack through rex as well.

It's been cleaned, otherwise VF. Worth about $60 in my opinion.

MAYBE

Going from the images you posted I have to agree with Walter and say this is cleaned and you were lucky that PCGS didn't pick it up and give it an AU Details grade.
PCGS CAN get it wrong on the odd occasion, I recently sent a Sovereign away to PCGS , Eric Eigner, Peter Andrews and myself would swear it would make AU58 ish.
It came back graded MS62.

Any chance of a better image of this coin ?
