What do you guys think of the toning on this Washington. It looked like this when I got it a couple years ago. Natural? Artificial? I have no idea.

Not sure exactly why, but it seems like Denver minted quarters in the mid to late 50's tended to tone deeply like this one exibits. Is this one from the time period?

There is something about the obverse photo that won't let me upload.
It is a '41.
The obverse is similar, but not quite as nice.
I will get the photo figured out and post the obverse as soon as I get back to my desktop.
I don't much like it. Though is is very pretty and quite spectacular, I have been seeing so many of those awful "monster" artificially toned coins that I am just afraid that this might be one of them.

This is from Photobucket if I did it right. I have a better pic, but can't get to it right now.

Looks very natural--love the hint of rainbow toning in it.

I normally HATE toning but for some reason that one looks great. Not that silly rainbow stuff, just really natural looking.

Here is that photo of the obverse.
Thanks guys, I feel a bit better. Though still not "warming up to it" at least if/when I decide to sell/trade it I will feel OK about it.

Not a fan of the rainbow stuff at all but sometimes a nice golden color can add some character
