You get both Machine Doubling damage and what Charlton's refer to as 'flat field doubling' on the obverse of both 1970 and 1971 coins. Wait until September, the new Charlton catalogue will be out, with nickel dollar varieties in the back.

Hey SPP

I have the 2012 Charlton now...You say they don't have much on the nickel dollars...?

Do all the 1976 dollars come with detached jewels..?

The 1976 Nickel Dollar comes with both attached and detached jewels

The 2013 Charltons with the information on the nickel dollar varieties will be available in September (ie. next month).

Flat Field Doubling is caused dring the striking of the coin and is not a Die Variety.
