So much depends on you. For many people they purchase items like that, then end up on a shelf, collecting dust.
For example I've got several microscopes, several telescopes, not sure how many scales, etc and never use them on coins. Actually never use any of those. I am the type like many others that wants STUFF, buys that STUFF, and never uses that STUFF.
Pending the monitary factor, if you can afford one, buy it. Who knows, someday I may find yours at a garage/yard/estate sale.

In the world of optics you get what you pay for. A USB microscope for under $100 is very low-end, and although you might be initially satisfied with the results, it won't last long. And keep in mind, chances are neither will be able to image a whole coin at once - the field of view of a microscope is much smaller than that. There is a review for the Carson at Amazon describing just that problem, from someone who wanted to image coins.

So you'll need a camera, as well, if you want whole-face images of your coins. And if you already have a camera, there might be solutions to imaging details you're unaware of yet.

I see what you mean Just Carl but to be honest I would still like to get it even though if its not a usba microscope yet as long as I can see up close I tried a magnifying glass that I got from Amazon that cost about 5 dollars, and you know I couldn't stand it if there is a good magnifying glass out there that is good and I can get to see up close it would be great and cheap :D I have a camera canon power shot s90 if I could zoom in to see more clearly I would love that as my wife would too without spending money. The scale is another thing I wouldnt mind getting for there is things I would like to way and it comes in handy when we send mail out too :D
P.S.
just carl you sounds like you have everything I'm trying to get no bundles just each singles that work great :D

I know what you mean SsuperDdave for I did read it but like I said on top if there is a good magnifying glass that wont drive my eyes crazy (unless its me) I would get it and or for my camera and I did read it too though its what I could find compared to the other things on Amazon for cheap.

Thanks again for info if you have more please let me know any and all will help :D

What kind of magnifier do you have? I use a 14x doublet jewelers loupe that I really like. Anything higher distorts the view. I have tried a 16x and a 20x and a 30x. I paid less then $10 for my 14x.

I have a 6x and less I had one from Amazon that was, thy said at lest on the item 30x but when I read it said it was 10x made from china.
when I looked through it it was hurting my eyes where when I tried to focus it was more strain and it didn't get me close to see enough and couldn't see all of coin.
If there is one that I can put on like glasses or something that way it don't hurt much or if I can get a high lens for my canon power shot s90 for cheap would be great.
So for all are due PLEASE help :D
Thank you

I have not tried these,,,As I am Older Than Dirt..but, when you have a camera that does not have inter-changable lenses.
as with the power shot series...one could go with the outer
lens adapters with "X" power magnification...They are like filters but magnify.. and they are all over ebay...I can not recomend they as I have never used them...but tey are out there for some to try..
