I hope that these pics are not too blurry. I am a bit uncertain if these wheats are unc or AU with some luster. It should be noted that the obverse of the 1945 shows more luster in hand than in the pic. Thanks!

acloco- Hmm, honestly, I have never pondered this "S" too much. Are there any known varieties for the 1950 S?

50-S, luster looks to be subdued, MS-63...ditto with the other cent.

BadThad- Thanks for the input! Honestly, I am a tad surprised since the 1945 really is 95% brown on the obverse, and the 1950 is actually a little bit darker than the image indicates. But I am happy to hear that they both appear to have the details of an Unc despite having dark/ almost no luster.

It's simply a result of their age. Most coins are improperly stored and handled over their lives....that's what happens. With these, look at the fields and devices, they are very nice....almost no hits.
