I'm thinking I need a second light source to help fill in the dark areas? For now, just assume I'm not trying to hide anything in those areas, just poor setup.

Oh my, that's just how I like them! Don't see a touch of wear on her, just some light contact, and nasty hits to her cheek and the wing. Dare I say it in advance of the second set of pics? MS-65, possibly 66, depending on how one sees those hits. Either way, she's a beauty!

Well, I dont have a second light yet, but rotating the coin and shooting again lights up the other half :)

64-65, depending on whether the grader got lucky the night before.

Great 1943 Walker I agree MS-65 IMHO.
I have a few graded in MS-64 and 65. Your Half looks just like my 1943 thats graded MS-65.
Very nice coin and one you should be proud of

I going to say MS-64 on this one. Fairly clean but once you get near MS-65 the strike is taken into consideration. Hand is pretty flat on this one and eagles feathers also a bit weak in spots. Hit on the face and a couple good size marks on reverse.

She's a beauty! Easy MS-65 or up in these old eyes.

EDIT: Hey, I just noticed I reached that same conclusion over a year ago!
