Just kidding! Hope your heart didn't drop. I'm not an expert on LWC. Good luck on the grade

I'm REALLY curious to see what you guys grade this. When I doze off at night, and visions of pennies dance in my head, this is how I picture the 1909-S VDB to look in my album... NO JOKE!
Jewel, can you tell us more about the acquisition too? Like where you purchased it, what made you chose it, how long you'd been looking... etc..

Looks VF-EF at least, but need to see larger picture of the obverse to help us authenticate.

From the small photos, I was thinking at least AU+ ! Can't wait to see more pics! I love how the obverse has faint violet hues and the reverse is a copper salmon tone

It has nice color and bigger images would be helpful in determining characteristic markers on the coin.
It appears to be a high AU low UNC.

Looks to me MS but the MM is very suspect. Close-up pics of the date, MM and VDB would be very helpful in determining authenticity. Whenever I see a high grade SVDB in the raw I get very suspecious. It's the most faked coin in history.
