Found this the other night. At first I was thinking PMD until I looked at it better. I didn't include a shot of the reverse because it looks normal.
Not sure if someone tried putting the metal back, though!

It does look like a lamination issue, but the rim on the right side of the coin does look kinda funky. Don't know if anyone else knows why.

Agreed that this is a delamination error ... and the retained lamination at Lincoln jacket add to the interest.

The obvious rim damage is PMD IMHO ... perhaps someone grabbed this in a set of vice-grips trying to peel the lamination.

Nice find ... I would keep it.

No marks on the reverse...I should have posted a pic. I didn't because it looked normal. No PMD.
