I find my hit rate to be 1 in $50 noodled. The 72 5c's are quite a bit harder to find but still relatively easy if looking. I would guess an average of 1 in $75 searched is my hit rate when noodling 5c. Report this Post to the Staff
lostsean Valued Member Australia 145 Posts	Posted 09/29/2012 1:34 pm Cheers mate 3 months into this and still learning, I bought a coin album full of aussie and english and wrold currenties for 76$ it had face value of $30 plus bits of english silvers and other face values I have'nt worked out, inside it was 1 & 2c every year circulated, 5,10,20 all shinny but circ 66-72, I was quiet happy, andd tons of pennys to add to my kg's lol, i need to find a list or program to help me with all this info, as I've become addicted to note/coin noodling, to the point where I've got stuff everywhere,now setting up coin office in 3rd bedroom, any hints on how to build a collection fast and cheapest way? I keep all my first/last prefix circulated notes and was thinking a quick method might be, example:9 say I have 2 x aa05 50's circulated, cash that in for uncirculated?) appling same method or similiar to coins? what program for the pc is good to log coins/notes ect? Thank-you for help, also can I get a airtight note holder for my pe94 $20 ?i know thats a keeper for next 25years, and want to preserve it as finding that note lead me to this addiction you guys call noodling.
