Some of you may have read my stories asking tellers for half dollars and ikes and such. The bank down the street from me lets me look through their loose half dollar coins. They are so nice!

But today, a teller actually decided to hold out a 1918 Wheat cent for me. A bit beat up, but I was so happy that the tellers at my regular bank are so cool! I love getting old wheaties! :D
Heck, I was there to get penny rolls to hunt!

Buy your tellers a box of chocolates once in a while.

I just met a really nice teller who is happy to take my Half returns. But is very well versed in coin/currency collecting.

He told me all the types he holds. So for me now 2 of my main dump banks have head tellers that are pulling any and all keepers.

I wish I could find tellers like yours.

Good score!
My favorite teller and I were chatting the other day about what we both collect. She knows when something is special but not really what the value is. She gave me a 57 $1 silver certificate, and showed me her collection that she keeps in her drawer. She had 2 1937 $100 bills, 2 red seal $2 bills and a 196? $10 bill. I was drooling on her counter as she showed me... but she said she is keeping them for her kids. Sigh...
maybe I need to bring them cookies again.
