Bank-Visit-And-What-A-Find

Went to the bank today and as the teller knows I collect notes and coins, she came out with this bundle of $1 and $2 notes.
47 x $1 and 4 x $2.
15 x Commonwealth of Australia $1, with three being last prefix BLG almost running numbers is what looks like uncirculated condition.
32 x Commonwealth notes and 4 x Commonwealth $2.
In all, the $2 notes are in used condition and a couple of the $1 notes are in what looks like used condition. The rest look like the day they were made.
The teller had a couple more there that I didn't take as they were in poor condition.
I'm happy.

Thanks guys. I'm rapt. Pays to be nice to the local tellers. I'm going to buy the teller who saved them for me a little present.

A very very nice haul. I always buy a little present when they come out with something good like that. Most banks dont allow tellers to accept individual gifts so I buy a box of chocloates and say they are for the branch to enjoy.

Phillips and Wheeler only penny dreadful. Although I've only had a quick look at them so when I get time I look better and photograph them.
Agree, a big box of choccies will go their way.

Nice collection Trainerman!

Did the notes only just get handed in or had the teller been holding onto them for you for a while?

Don't know Pedro. Got a feeling that they had only been exchanged just recently although the teller knows me fairly well and she may have kept them for me. She knew exactly where they were, and we had to wait for some time release for her to get them. I'll ask her next time I see her.

Went through notes I got from the friendly teller and found these:

Bank-Visit-And-What-A-Find

Last prefix Phillips/Wheeler

Bank-Visit-And-What-A-Find

Johnston/Stone

Bank-Visit-And-What-A-Find

Interesting serial, Phillips/Wheeler

Most of the notes, except for the $2 notes, look uncirculated.
