I used to carry a 1971 S Ike in an Airtite, but I lost it. Don't carry one anymore.

I carry a 72 Ike my Nana gave me in an air-tite from time to time. It was previously circulated but I put everything she gives me in air-tites because they used to be my Papa's so I like to preserve it as he held it.

I feel like if it's in an air-tite in its own pocket it's not a pocket piece though lol, more of a keepsake that when I fiddle with it in my pocket it relaxes me, etc.

for almost 25 years I've carried a medallion of sorts, before that I had "worry" stones. Lately I've been carrying a couple Ikes and the other day I had a couple Kennedys in there with them. It gets a little heavy, but I agree with what was said above, I like the sound effect.

I've seen a lot of random foreign proof coins at shows for cheap. I think it would be interesting to have one of those as a pocket piece....

Maybe I'm a weirdo, but whenever I see a coin, I wonder what it would look like in PO-1. Gothic florin, I think a nclt foreign coin makes a great pocket piece. You would be surprised how many people don't realize that other countries make commemorative coins. It's very fun to show people my (now impaired) proof 1993 stanley cup canadian silver dollar.Besides, its sterling silver, and I like dropping it to hear that silver clunk.(note, I do not drop this coin on to anything that might damage it)

I bought some bulk world coins recently. Amongst the coins, I was looking to find some new countries that I did not have in my collection yet. I was also kicking around the idea of having a pocket piece. I play quite a bit of poker, so it would be nice to use it as a card protector. As I was going through the coins, I found a coin with a decent weight and size. It is a 5 Bolivaires coin from Venezuela. It still has really nice luster and is from 1977. The Krause said it wasnt worth much. So I said hello to my first pocket piece.

cool choice stud722 Now you can play simon says like someone else on the forum does https://goccf.com/t/126401&whichpag...pocket,piece
Anywho, it will take a long time for the coin to wear out, even if the coin is kept in a pocket with other pocket change.(numista says its nickel). But still, its a cool half dollar size coin. I love pocket pieces, one of coincommunity's mottos is even "what's in your pocket?" Again, excellent choice in a pocket piece

Haha alright I will see what I can do. My old camera's screen will not even turn on so I am in the process of buying a new camera, but I will try to use my smart phone to at least get you a simple picture.
