Ok, not my best condition coin, but one of the oldest!

I checked this for the 6 over 9, and do not see anything. I am in the G8 - F12 range? Seems the flat back is common or accepted at this age?

GTG and any additional comments. thanks

The details are at least F12. I would say F15 probably. The weakness on the reverse is mostly from striking.

Draped bust coinage is my favorite and this is a nice example!

nice looking coin man, I like and wish I had it!

I am in the F grading range on this, maybe details due to potential of a very old cleaning. that one side of the reverse took a bit more wear for the ages which fools the eye to me but strong denticles on both sides, strong shield for the most part on the reverse as well...

I am curious about the staining on the obverse on her head and bust area...that is what is making me question older cleaning...is that a scratch at 10:00 on the obverse behind her head or just a contact mark of some sort?

The details are definitely in the VF range. With the uneven wear on the devices and strike weakness, some would call F. It's mostly wear in my opinion.
Nice coin!

I could go with F12 for this one.

I seem to recall the 6 over 9 overdate had a knob 6 date versus a pointed 6. Any experts weighing in?

I'm very partial to Draped Bust coinage as well.

Was thinking F15 initially, but vermontensium hit it on the weak strike. IMO with detail in the face and bust along with the plumage and cloud detail on the reverse VF range would be my guess.

Nice looking coin!
