Drsandman2 Pillar of the Community United States 1374 Posts	Posted 08/26/2012 10:29 am Probably AU details. Strong diamonds, some luster remains and not seeing any wear on bottom curls. However, I would classify it as a problem coin due to the verdigris and surface. I don't imagine the clash would have any affect on the value, even if problem free. I'm not seeing anything that would lead me to believe it is a variety, although date area is not clear. Fantastic find in a roll! Thanks for sharing, John1. Report this Post to the Staff

John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 08/26/2012 12:09 pm I soaked it in olive oil for three days and it came out about 20% better then when it went in.I have never used acetone and from what I have read I don't think it would help much if at all. I have not had much luck with Verd-Care in the past. Thanks all for your input.As for value,do I subtract let's say 50% of what an AU-50 would be without the damage?
