Not sure what you are asking but I assume it would be how to open the slides? Place a finger on a clear mylar and push it towards the outer edge of the page. After it moves just a bit you will be able to pull the slide on out from the outer edge of the page. Now if you are asking whether or not I (we) use gloves to protect the coin while inserting I would suggest you use your BEST judgement. Many coins I place in albums are simply removed from the current holder of said coin, whether it be a 2x2, airtite, mint set or proof set, with the album lying underneath. Once the coin is free I carefully move it into its respective slot. I pay very close attention when placing proof coins into such an album but have also found proofs don't fare well in any album so I halted the purchase of albums which require proofs. Hope this answers your question?
Laxmaster. Here is what I do to get the slide to come out easy, I wear one of those latex finger guards you put on your finger when you get a cut works great.
