Stopped by two brick & mortar coin stores in Casper, Wyoming earlier today. Impressed with both. Excellent variety and nice people.

Collins Street Storage and Coin
613 West Collins Drive (google lists 537 address, but them moved a block west)
Casper, WY

and...

C C Coins
169 South Wolcott
Casper, WY

C C Coins is just that, a coin store. He specializes and loves to collect Morgan & Peace dollars, but does have a fair selection of other. Picked up a 1976 mint set (because of the B E A you T I F you L Ike inside the cellophane along with a couple proof sets and a full Memorial cent book (with plastic sliders).

Collins Street is also an insurance agency, but there are two FULL counters with mid to high grade raw and slabbed coins contained therein. I passed on an absolutely LUSTEROUS 1923 Buffalo nickel with $100 price tag. Had a few light bag marks on the obverse. Should have pulled the trigger. I did by an PCI slabbed 1935 Merc in MS65. Price was right....and so was the coin. On one hand, I am glad that I do not collect large cents, but on the other, I wish I did. They have several VERY, VERY nice large cents that were reasonably priced.

....and NOT a dig against either, some items were priced right, some low, and some very strong...but overall, very nice places and nice people. I did point out a 1909 Lincoln Cent was actually a 1909 VDB. At most, this was a MS64RB, more than likely would grade a BN.....but priced at $85....bit too high, in my opinion. This was not a stellar coin.

All in all, if you are in the area, TAKE THE TIME to stop at both places. They are located less than 7 blocks from each other.

Good to know. I do not plan to be out that way any time soon, but if it happens, I will make the effort to stop by.
