9 out of 10 squirrels agree: The CDN Monthly Supplement is helpful to them. And that ain't peanuts! I got the idea for this from: https://goccf.com/t/128153Humor AND education in a single post? Please read this thread. I learned SO MUCH about die clashes.

I hold onto any Indian head and Wheat cent I come across. I also keep any copper cent I find, I have $200+ face value squirreled away.

Most of the time I hold on to any decent Barber, Walker or classic Commem Half dollars. Any coins dated 1876 or 1861 through 1865 Also tend to keep the large cents I get in trades or in lot and collection buys. So yes I am saving classic coins.

I have been collecting Indian Heads, wheaties, buffaloes and all silver coins. My favorite is one of the first coins I bought... A Seated Liberty dollar. It is so beautiful . Gotta love the classics!

OH I LOVE IT! OldSkool, I had the great pleasure of keeping two of these "weasels." Thankfully they do not eat coins. Unlike squirrels, ferrets are CARNIVORES!
But beware! They just might hide them! They were a joy to live with. BUT ... Among the odds and ends I found "ferreted" under my bed, perhaps the paint roller was the most unusual find. Tootsie rolls. Plastic bags.
And they gave me "the LOOK!" (Know what I MEAN?) "Oh NO! I do not know of what you speak. Maybe the cat did it." But thankfully no coins.
Now, does your fuzz butt have a particular specialty?
Or is he/she open to collect a little bit of everything? Check under your bed often. THAT'S where your missing items are likely to be found.
YES! Popcorn all around.

We have three and they have taken coins! One specializes in food, one in small objects, and one in large objects. The large object one grabs pillows from the sofa, drags them into the laundry room and puts them behind the dryer. We've also found wiimotes in the bottom drawer of the oven.

Gotta love ferrets. Or why do we live with them? Pillows? Behind the dryer? Now THAT it ferret power!
"Oh NO, dear Sir or Maam, I did not hide the pillows. If not the cat, the dog perhaps? Do not blame me, .... YOU SUCKER!
HIDE YOUR COINS, ferret owners.

Gee, given the replies here so far I should have posed my "helper" with the CDN QUARTERLY! As for us guys being crazy, tgauchsin, it is born out of little victories and defeats experienced over the years of filling holes and fighting the constant urge to upgrade. A little humor helps one get through the day.
