I saved a Holed Stone Mt from the smelter. I picked it up for spot hope you did the same and I would love to see pics

Very interesting. Is your goal to assemble a compete type set of holed commemoratives?
I'm sure it must be a challenge! In the years that I've been collecting, I can only recall seeing a Columbian, a Stone Mountain and a Lexington with a hole.

Yotie, how did you find the Stone Mt that was headed to the smelter? I am always in stories like that.

Another hole filled in my holed commem collection. A holed Hawaiian coming from ebay. Now I'm lacking a holed Missouri for the first 2 pages of the Dansco album.

I'm doing a holed IHC collection so I can relate. I'll check back for pics, would love to see them.

I have a lot of regular coins with holes. I just got a Guadalajara mint 8 reales from 1830-35. Unfortunately the hole is right on the last number in the date. I got it for $25, which is the melt value so I'm not complaining. I also found a holey 1775 English penny for a quarter in a coin shop's foreign coin bin.

I have added a holed Missouri to this set so I do have the first 2 pages of the Dansco filled.
