I'm honored by the generosity of CladKing in allowing me the opportunity to kick off my series of great numismatist interviews for my forthcoming book.

CladKing frequents this and several other coin message boards and is one of my go to sources for field research about scarcity, varieties, and the market. His generous support of moderns in the public sphere will prove to be sage and ahead of its time and I invite everyone to listen to what he has to say.

Love to hear your comments!

An excellent look into our very own CladKing! Thank you for sharing, and thank you, CladKing, for opening up.

Charles,

Excellent Piece, it seems to capture Sam's contrary stances
on moderns and the rarities within some of the series
quite well. That is quite well known to some of us.

I for one have learned an ENORMOUS AMOUNT
from his posts over the years that has helped add some
spectacular coins to my collection. That I enjoy very much

Very Well Done Sir

Terry

The willingness for cladking to share his knowledge and the effort of cc99999 to writing such article are the things we needed to ignite the flame of clad-collecting. As more collectors learn about these, we will see more demand toward clad coinage, especially as PM (silver) price climb higher and prevent casual collectors from achieving set. The Lincoln Cent series starting out as pocket changes searching and filling Whitman folder. I believe clad collecting era is getting near and I appreciate all the efforts to make it happen. I will sure take part in this.

Thanks guys and thanks ccc99999. It's a real honor to have been interviewed.

This was certainly a good article but I look forward to more about coins and other coin people instead. :)
