@Illegaltender, perhaps that's true if it is the doubled obverse!

Quote: Can anyone spot the prize in this picture? I found everything at a Shoprite Coinstar about an hour from my house. You probably mean the silver dime, but for some reason I am drawn to the 1977 Lincoln. Nice finds!

Yesterday, I found a soda can tab in the reject tray. I left it.

I've noticed people are more likely to leave stuff behind if they are dumping coins from a disposable container like a plastic bag as opposed to a coffee can or coin jar. It is also extremely rare to find anything if the person is getting a gift card, since they are smart enough to bypass the fee, they usually take any leftover change.
Well today, a guy was cashing in using change from a plastic bag and while he did take most of the rejects to re-run, I saw him throw the bag in the trash when he was done, and sure enough, he left some coins behind. I found 2 1 cent Euro coins, a clad dime, 4 pennies with 2 being stuck together, and some Korean looking coin under the machine.

My find for today: Also, an $0.08 voucher on the small counter from a single dime being run through. I can't wait to cash it in! The can tab was still there.

haha I love finding the slips where they only put a few coins in. Once I cashed one in that was worth 1 cent.

My son pulled a 66 Kennedy out of one of our local Coinstar machines yesterday...he said, "Too bad it isn't silver." I then educated him on the difference between 1965-69 dimes, qtrs and half dollars.

first time reading this set of post. never thought about checking out the returns. I was ion Walmart about two weeks ago and there was a ruff looking guy changing out the boxs that the money drops ionto. They looked heavy as he pulled them out. I did ask him if he ever looks through the coins. He said when he first started he would look through them but now he just puts them through a coin roll machine and turns them in.

Haven't traveled much the past few days due to lots of fantasy baseball stuff... only hit the same two machines three days in a row as a result, and one of them had this waiting for me late this afternoon!
