Probably a wise idea, but I still feel bad for the next person. Then again, someone probably left them there for you.

I left them on the shelf. Either someone will take them or leave them.

I found my first silver coin from a coin star, it was a 1964 dime that had fallen under the machine.

Went to my local store today. Walked by the machine and the tray was full of coin. Started loading them in my pocket and the coins kept coming. It was like the old slot machine jackpot payout. Here is the count:
47.50 in quarters
.60 in dimes
.15 in nickels
.02 in cents
2 Canadian quarters
1 Canadian dime
2 Canadian cents
6 Adventure Landing tokens
1 Pocket prayer guardian angel token (I may have to carry this one)
and 1 nice shiny washer.

Last 5 times I checked nothing, this is at Walmart and Kroger oh well it happens. Did find a LMC by the curb outside the Chinese restaurant and going through my mother in laws change a 2009 P dime so not a total loss. Yes my mother in law she looks for coins for me usually gets at least one silver coin a month at work where employees can't get them to go through the vending machine so she exchanges them for a clad coin. I get them for free so I'm not complaining.
