Today I found this 1976-S silver proof quarter in the reject bin of a Coinstar machine. I'm 95% sure it's silver anyway. My scales aren't very accurate, but it weighs 5.81 grams while a normal clad quarter weighs 5.71 grams. It has fingerprints but is in good shape otherwise.

I had my first Coinstar finds of the year today! A Latvian 2014 1-eurocent and 2-eurocents, a 2015 Lithuanian 2-eurocents and an ordinary British 5p! No idea why the 5p was rejected. The other coins were all additions to my collection!

Checked the coin counter in Giant (i am away from home) and found 1 modern i Israeli shekel. Worth about 25 cents. Having lived there, with plans to go back and visit, I am happy to get my hands on Israeli currency. I have been lucky enough to get it free at some local shops that don't have what to do with it.

I don't think this qualifies for the tokens thread, but certainly is cool to find in a Coinstar! Roger Williams mint golf token, looks like an older one perhaps.

Got 2 wheat cents in change yesterday, both dated 1918. Attempted to buy the rest of the cents in the drawer and was shut down immediately after the clerk understood what he gave me and identified himself as as a collector.
