Awhile back I found $.27 in the reject tray at my local Kroger's. Then last week at my local Kroger's, I found this Canadian quarter. I went back in the next day and found another one.

Btyan78, it's always great to find free money. Your first find was nicer though.

It's been a long time since I found anything worth more than face value in a Coinstar. Well, today was the day that changed. No, I didn't find silver, or a Wheat cent. I found a 2009-D nickel!

Thanks, Errers and Varietys! Only the third "good" nickel I've pulled from a Coinstar ever. One time I got a War Nickel that had been "reprocessed" so it was overweight, another time I found a damaged common date pre-1960 nickel.

That is a good nickel. 2009 Being low production. By me any D coin is a rare find.
Sad Note the coin counter by me is waiting repairs. Been about a week now and the long weekend is just adding to it.
