I very rarely check coin star reject trays. but today I was in King Kullen, I passed a coin star machine and said to myself; what the heck. reached down and pulled out a silver roosie and a Canadian quarter. Wow I should do this more often.

Checked a Coinstar at a Tops Supermarket today while dropping off some half dollars at the in-store branch of my local bank. Scored a 1962d Rosie sitting all by himself in the tray.

Not from the reject slot, but last night, I noticed a bucket on top of the machine. I looked inside, and saw a bunch of trash, along with ...2 corroded zincolns. Oh well, it's still free money I never had before.

I found a 1978 Canadian dime under the coinstar.

Actually, I made my brother get it.

First coinstar find. US quarter and dime. Utah quarter and 2014 dime. Both looked perfectly fine. Don't know why they were rejected. But I'm 35 cents richer for the experience.

Cool finds, everyone! Got $0.50 in clad dimes wednesday, and yesterday I also found $0.20 in clad dimes. They were all UNC, from the 2010's. I donated them

I also forgot, found a sticky 2013 penny in the return slot of another coinstar.

Quick hand sanitizer wipe cleaned the substance up really quick.
