The coin counter at my bank was loaded with rejects. Nearly $8 in US coins, mostly dimes and cents, and about $3 Canadian, plus an arcade token.

The best part? Three silver dimes, a 62-D and two 64-Ds, and 2 wheats, 1939 and 1941. :D

I don't quite get how someone could leave money in the reject trays but I see it frequently. Doesn't it make noise and even tell you to CHECK the reject tray when you use a coin counting machine?

Some people are always in a hurry, or get interrupted by their kids, and just forget to check.

Just got back from kroger, found 4 dimes, 2 nickels and 2 pennies in the reject tray. No silver, but one of the pennies was a 1941 wheatie

So far I have found coins every time I check - so far only pennies and foreign coins. My Canadian and euros collection is growing!

Not a coinstar find but I was at Wal-mart and when I was pushing the buggy to the buggy corral I found a nickel on the ground... I then stopped at Krogers (grocery store) and on my way out to my truck I found another nickel on the ground...

Well, my total bill was ten cents cheaper...
