Well it was a good thing I went to Safeway tonight..
Began with finding a solo nickel in the CoinStar machine. As I began walking away with dismay, I noticed a few more coins on top of the machine! Those turned out to be two 50 Centavos coins and a 1 Peso from Mexico, along with 1 Euro Cent from Spain.
It doesn't stop there though. As I began checking out, I noticed 30 more cents in the change machine they had in that checkout line. And then another 13 cents on the ground! And then a final 32 cents sitting in another change machine in a different checkout line. I finished with a grand total of 80 cents and 4 foreign coins.
Now it doesn't seem like much, but when you think about the 5 different people who left their coins for me to find, and finding a free 80 cents in about 10 minutes, well it adds up!

In a Wegman's Coinstar's tray, I found: *A 1949 silver Roosevelt dime. *A 1966 clad Washington quarter that's still in pretty decent shape (how I wish it were a silver one). *$1.25 in Canadian Dollars (a 1993 Loonie and a commemorative bravery quarter from 2006). *A 1950 5 Franc coin from Belgium.

Got 10 foreign coins from a gas station today: 4 Canadian (3 pennies, 1 dime), 3 United Kingdom (10p, 20p, 1964 6 pence), 1 Hong Kong (1965 50 cents), 1 Mexico (1998 10 centavos) and 1 South Korea (2012 10 won). Not too bad after filling up my gas tank.

Had my first one worth mentioning today. I had to go to the grocery store, & on the way out I took a look in the CoinStar reject tray. At first I didn't see anything, but I looked again, & golly! A 1956 dime.

Another picture worthy find happened last night! That's $1.15 in change, a few foreign coins, a religious key chain, and most importantly, a 1942 wheat, and 2 silver dimes, a 1961-D and a 1964!

Went grocery shopping on the 4th of July and checked the coinstar reject bin on the way out. Found some modern coins and these two dimes.

Took the dump of my 2nd best box ever of kennedys, stuck my hand in the slot and out came 2 washingtons a 64 and a 58. Makes the trip worth the time. Free silver and a good giggle under my breath! This machine is a good one. I get something 50% of the time. But this was the best to date silver wise. Gotta love those free slot machines!
