Last Thursday night I went to Walmart in hopes of buying the new NES Classic Edition video game console to relive my childhood. It was unfortunately sold out but I found this beauty at the Coinstar on the way out.

One of my machines was chock full of coins in the reject bin... $1.30 in US coins. 35 cents in Canadian, and a Japanese 100 Yen coin... the winner though was this one!
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

My first coin counter reject bin find of ANY type happened today for the first time in at least 3 months. My bank which is right across from a senior living center had a SEPTA token, a 1979 Canadian dime, and a 2011 canadian penny in the return slot of their coin counter.

Found this in the local CoinStar along with some sticky dimes and pennies. The week prior I snagged a Canadian nickel and a few pocket change US coins.

First coinstar find in quite awhile. 1990 Republica Dominicana Veinticinco Centavos It has a reeded edge silver in color and it's the size of a twenty five cent piece. Thought I found a 90% quarter!

Cool finds berto and danthecoinman68. The coinstar demon must have heard me complaining, after a long dry spell two visits in a row I scored. Today, 1960 Canadian dime 1984 Canadian dime and 1986 25 cent Canadian with some gum stuck to it. Happy hunting everyone!

It has been over 9 months since the grocery store Coinstar has had anything of note in the reject tray. Well today, that changed for the better! I found 31 cents, a Bermuda quarter, a West Windsor Parking authority token, a Euro cent, and best of all, a 1963-D quarter! It's the first silver quarter I've found in circulation since January of this year when my job had the stash of silver in the register, and even better that it came from a Coinstar machine! I'm hoping this was the first sign of life from the reject bin, so hopefully I'll have more to report in the future!
