Pulled out a box from my stash today to search. It was an entire box of customer rolled cents. I usually have good luck with customer rolled, but, not with this box. It was clearly someone's culls. Found a few '82 but nothing prior to that. Never had that happen before and hopefully never again.

Always a possibility, and "used to be a time when if you searched coin rolls, they thought you crazy...nowadays, everyones's crazy!"

I've run into that myself a few times, always hate it when I ask for a box of cents and the vault teller pulls out an opened box of CWR's. I know there is at least one other Ryedale in my area from conversations with bank tellers. They had dumped 3 boxes of them at one of my banks that orders me cents every week, so I had to buy and re-dump those boxes before I could have them continue ordering me my weekly boxes from Brinks.

The only time I was skunked with non-BU coins, was when I asked for CWR's. If you are getting skunked due to machine wrapped non-BU coins, it's just a sign that we don't have a lot of years left at 25-30% copper.

Got skunked today on a box of quarters. Just one Michigan State Quarter proof :(
