Just getting back from vacation and wanted to get folks views on the grade of this 1948 Silver Dollar that I got from my father in law. 2 pics were taken under spotlight so details can be seen and 2 during the day in-doors with ambient light.
Opinions on the grade would be appreciated. Thanks.

Joboman, you indicated that you thought the coin was cleaned, which may have been done for all I know by my FIL (but not by me). I also realized that the two pics that I thought were shot indoors were actually outdoor shots taken in the shade. The 2 I am attaching are actually the indoor day time shots in ambient light that I thought were in my original post. My apologies. Any guesses by anyone on a value?

Thanks to everyone for their response.
bmxboy you said to send it in for grading. Since I am a noob at this I like you or anyone else: To whom do I send it for grading, how much does this cost to do, and how do you go about this to make sure you are not sending your $1,000 coin off never to be seen again?

Not to worry, Cents111.... when you send coins in for grading they are always sent registered mail, with tracking both ways, ICCS or CCCS are the Canadian graders, get in touch with them and they will tell you how much it costs.
