I picked this up about a month ago for $5 over spot at the time. Has anybody seen one of these before?

Great find if it really is 1930 bar and not reproduced later.

I wondered that myself. If anyone has one of these let me know I'm interested to know if it actually is from 1930.

It is a fantastic bar nonetheless. Is there a way to authenticate?

Cool bar!! Early to mid 70's I believe these came from a set, I wish I knew off hand who the refinery was

Just found a couple on sale on ebay for $50. Oh well there goes that little dream that I found a rare and unique bar, though I do really like it. It looks to me like it is some sort of modern day reproduction, well 1970's modern day.

The RJC is a tip-off.( Responsible Jewellery Council) They cover bullion, as well. Maybe you can track it down from a member list. Goog it and find some articles, they're there.

Defiantly cool. I like it better than a led zeppelin ;)

I really want to know if that's actually from the 30's! If so, that's amazing, and it's in fantastic shape with little to no tarnish at all....

My theory is that it is a tribute for the graf zeppelin which perhaps hit the air in 1930....
