Being new I am discovering all sorts of series through this forum. I was wondering what peoples favorite series are.

I like the Australian coins, great designs. Used to like the Canadian maples but the milk spots put me off.

I really like the wildlife series by the RCM but as the previous poster said the "milk spots" are a huge turn off. Coin dip works at taking the spots off with no problem but it just seems crazy to me that they haven't corrected the problem yet.

For silver I like the britanias, and maple leafs, for gold (if I could afford any) Krugerrands are nearly universally known, plus you can sometimes get them under spot. For platinum, maple leafs, for palladium, maple leafs, and for copper, just about any privately minted bullion round will work, plus there are some cool designs out there.

I've actually changed my mind on this several times lol. I really liked the Chinese panda but the high amount of fakes turned me off. Then it was kooks, and there will always be a place for ASEs & CMLs.... But if I had to answer right now, I'd say my favorite bullion coin is the mid 80s Mexican Onzas. They are nice and fat, cool lettered edge and a great design, feels good on the hand

Britannias are probably one of my new favorite coins. But I wont be making a collection set of them anytime soon. As they draw some pretty high premiums. Other than that of course ASE's and Maples.

Quote: My favorite series is anything that is .999 Roger that, Trip. Same here. I'm in it for the BULLION, so an ounce of silver is an ounce of silver! Milk spots? Pfft! They are still an ounce of silver. One day I will sell all or part of my hoard and whoever buys them will likely melt them down to make bars to sell to industrial silver users. Spots or no spots, they will not care and will pay the same per ounce either way.

I prefer ASE's for stacking. However, I do enjoy collecting the Canadian Wildlife series.
