Which coin should I buy? and a grade please also.
let's say hypothetically they all cost the same amount. what would you go for first.
I'm thinking 1918D.

Um....the 18 S that you have pictured...has ONE of the die markers for being an 18/17 S. Look to the left of the right knee. See the three impressions? That is from a die clash. I could not blow up your pictures enough to check for the dot above the right side of the date...and do not clearly see the 8/7 in the date. BUT, somewhat recently, there has been ample discussion that there are two 18/17 S varieties. So, yes....BUY the 18 S!

I like the 1918 s. The surfaces look the most original on that one.

i just don't see the 7/8, but I do see what looks like maybe an E next to the knee.
are there 2 versions, say a die clash w/o the 8/7? or is the clash one of the main identifiers to this year.

the seller lives 400 miles away so I can't see it in person. I've asked for better photos.

Check here:

If you are using internet explorer...in the lower right hand corner, you can increase screen size. If you increase to 200%, the die marker that I described, is CLEARLY on the PCGS coin....same one as yours....or...hopefully...soon to be yours.
