There is a 50 cents 1957 and I think I have a DDO.

Next thing to work on it a way to diffuse the light so glare is reduced. This can be achieved as easily as making a curtain with very thin paper or plastic grocery bag to get the needed light with out glare. Be careful to not place the diffuser to close to the light source because of unwanted heat with a chance if igniting. Just place the curtain next to the location of the coin and away from the light source. If you have a secondary light issue, I use a facial tissue to block unwanted light. Sometimes you just have to experiment to get the desired light. I use a book light that I upgraded to get the desired light.

Much better pics. Always take them straigh on with the coin oriented straight.When you take pics on an angle you can make any coin (shiny ones) look like doubling. If there is something there you will see it straigh on. This coin looks like Machine Doubling.

For the pictures I use a USB microscope CELESTRON X150max
and then I set the colors and the contrast with pictures software ACD see pro2.
