Nice die clash on an ugly coin. Corroded for sure - an expert may "save" it but I don't know if it worth.

Looks to have been heavily cleaned and with $15.99 shipping, I'm not so sure if that's a good deal.

Just another ugly over priced piece of junk on ebay. As to counterfeits of this date and mint............. never seen one in over 40 years. These 1907H mint coins are usually on darker planchets than similiar dated 1907 London mint coins.

Corrosion, and cleaned to the point of being almost worthless.

ok guys, I actually do know the seller.
he has absolutely NO interest selling a fake knowingly.
He is an amazing individual with very strong business sense.
After he arrived in Vancouver from India (and no, I am not his cousin), he and a few friends here in canada and the US purchased every Canadian coin, rolls, singles etc they could get their hands on. His friends in the US bought the stuff at US auctions 15-20 years ago when hardly anyone even looked at it. then they travelled to meet and he brought IT ALL BACK TO HIS HOME (RENTED) and stashed it away under beds, behind fridges, in basements... you get the idea.
I have met him, in his home in vancouver, after I purchased a few items from him 3 or 4 years ago. His (canadian born) daughters carried bags of coins back and forth to show me.
Honestly, I had NEVER seen so much stuff, all sorted by denominations and years. from tokens to silver dollars. You name it, he had it. AND.. he still has it. there was just way toooooo much. he is selling ever since. he actually does have, or still has, some extreme rare Canadian coins.
When I bought from him his feedback was under 300 if I remember right.
whoever buys the 1907h and does not like it, I am sure he will take it back.
and as far as shipping is concerned... well, we all know that ebay FeePal have a lot to do with it.
I am not trying to defend him, but he is not trying to pull a fast one here.
And again, I have absolutely NOTHING to do with him.

i only brought the coin up as to educate myself as the surface looked 'cast' to me and I wanted the opinions of others here with more knowledge.

Then, in the best interest of your friend, have him invest a bit more effort into coin photography. He is not doing himself any favours with those photographs... the light is way too yellow and intense, given the coin a 'harshly cleaned' look...

Didn't mention it earlier here but I have purchased thousands of coins on ebay and this seller is absolutely the worst I have ever dealt with. There are two sides to every coin, and perhaps seller as well.

Uh, you pay ebay commission on the shipping too and have for quite some time.
The coin in question is ludicrously overpriced and the shipping charge is too.
I steer clear of sellers who charge ridiculous S&H fees.

Coin appears real, however, appears to have spent time in the ground and cleaned harshly to remove dirt/soil.

SPP, he is not my friend at all. I have just indicated how I do know him.
But I guess I wish now I would have just not posted this.
Please remember, Not everyone is perfect for everyone, but perfect for some.
Are his coins overpriced junk? maybe overpriced at time. But it is obvious that he is doing something "right". maybe not in everyone's eyes.
And, most important, nobody has to buy from him.
Lets just simply compare him with Centsles, shall we? I believe at some time we all bought there? right?
The above is not to defend this seller. But, would it have not been a lot nicer to contact him and ask him for better pictures instead of giving him the gears?
I guess it is just like with the morning news: negative stories sell!

I have my concerns about this seller.

He's had the exact same picture of the obverse of a KGVI nickel on ebay for the past three years.

I've emailed him before many times about it but it's always the same picture and he doesn't want to change it.

Usually for a high grade 1939, 1940 and 1941 5c.

It's the same pic because it has a distinctive 'black spec' at approx. 4:00pm on the rim.

Wrong - I refuse to do business with Centsles because I think his business model is not ethical.
