I opened a roll of 2006 P Nickels and found 3 with blobs on the Jefferson's nose in the same spot and two with the exact same crack on the back of the coin in the building. Are the blobs called Cud or something else? and are these cracks on the other coins? thanks

They're called die breaks. Cuds are conditions where a piece of the edge of the die has broken off, allowing metal to flow unobstructed into the rim area. The cracks are just that - cracks in the die used to strike the coin. Very interesting on such a new issue, given the Mint's quality control efforts.

Thanks - I am thinking of selling them on ebay. I am enjoying this new hobby and I want to earn enough money to buy some of the older error coins. I figure I can buy rolls, look for errors, and then sell them. Then start a "serious" coin collection. I guess you got to start somewhere and this is loads of fun! :)
