I think I will buy a few. I worked with some guys in the Lions Club while in Washington State. They did a lot of work with not only the blind but Special Olympics also. They talked me into being a "Hugger" at the finish line of one of the "Dashes" and it was our job to cheer on the child in our lane and give them an encouraging word and a hug when the crossed the finish line. Almost tore my heart out every time a kid ran. I was going to join the Lions Club there, but received a transfer to Maryland. Never seemed to find the right club again.

God Bless the Lions Club and their members.

Just call me "Lion edgman". Glad to hear they are finally being honored. Spent ten good years with them and I can only say that for volunteer and charitable work they cant be beat. Will be saving a slot for them in my Dansco 7070 album.

I haven't collected many commems these days but I will grab a couple of these for gifts - I know a couple of fine individuals who would appreciate this.

I think this is a great commem... I like the Baseball HOF commem but this seems like a better cause.

Has there been a Shriners commem yet?
