A very well worn coin, too bad for the recent staple scratch.

Agree with your assessment of AG03. This would be a nice coin for someone starting a circulated set.

This too me isn't that expensive a coin to get such a low grade. I plan on getting this coin soon and adecent grade on the bay only runs about $60.

More than likely, a pocket piece at one time.

Please. That coin is beyond ugly on a good day.

I agree scubu, its a fun conversation piece but for a fairly inexpensive commemorative I wouldn't want of such low grade in my collection. I want to get an AU at least for my collection since its an affordable coin, I'd rather save the money for a nicer piece.

I don't do the pocket pieces but been thinking it would be fun to do a pocket morgan. I love Westerns and that coin could have well been used an old western game of poker clinking on the table, how fun would it be to have a worn morgan in your pocket with all the western appeal :)
