I think that this coin has a nice feeling about it, yes?Mysia, Kyzikos. AE24200-100 BC Diameter: 24 mm Weight: 5.44 grams Obverse: KYZI-KHWN to left and right of lit torch Reverse: Bull butting right BMC Mysia p.39, 164; SNG Cop 79 Nice tone. (Better in hand!!) ... I thought the coin had a nice "presence" as DVC would say ... hopefully, they are accurate and it'll look even better "in hand"?

That is a fantastic looking coin. Probably out of my league. Did you already buy it. If so, congrats, Jerry

=> out of "your" league? ... no way!! => Bing, it's certainly within the same price-range as your wonderful new Tet!! Oh, and thanks for the coin-comment (for a sec, I thought that the internet was down!!?) ... => yah, I think that this coin is a total winner!! (lit torch and a butting-bull ... nuthin' but net!!)

Nice coin, the loop in the tail was a nice touch by the engraver.

I find coins of this era interesting because of the influence of Roman style. I do like the design--they only thing detracting are the signs of a harsh cleaning?

Its a great coin... here's a similar coin from vcoins... very tempting but I need to eat. Steve you deserve some fruit Comparing: yours is bigger and the writing is better the other one the bull is better (except for its tail) any explaination on the huge weight difference? This one is smaller yet substancially heavier.

DavidUK ... interserting => I found this example on wildwinds (it is the same diameter as mine, except its weight is actually lighter than my coin's weight) ... Size/Denomination/Weight: 24mm, AE, 4.42g

Thanks echizento
DVC => yes, I am hoping that scratches are merely being exaggerated by the poor photo with the light gleaming at a bad angle (NOTE => I am sure that there are signs of cleaning, as there are with most ancient coins, but again I'm hoping that the bad lighting is amplifying the scratches) ... I will try to take a few more home=made photos of the coin, once it arrives ...
Once again, this was from one of the recommended dealers on Bing's seller list ...
