It was in a Lincoln Penny Book so I believe it was being used as filler. It's a joke. It's a real 1909 with a few changes. The S looks like it was shaped by digging out or applied. The VDB looks like it was gouged into the coin with a nail. Very convincing.....NOT. Moved by Forum Mom from Modern US Coin Grading forum to Modern US Variety & Error Coins forum.
