Hi guys!
I bought an 1853 AG Rays and arrows STD Quarter. Do you think I got a good deal for nine dollars? Apparently there's a die rotation error. Is that a big deal, or no?

THANKS! I appreciate anyone's input.

Looks like a reasonable price to me, with free shipping. Seller will be netting right about spot value.

I was worried about paying above spot. But hopefully its a sound investment.

Good deal and the die rotation is not a factor.
Sound investment? Lets say you won't loose money.
I wouldn't consider an AG coin an investment piece.
Nice to have in any collection though.

Nice collectable one-year-only type coin with honest wear.

Yea since you didn't pay more than spot you got a reasonable deal, the coin has little numismatic value in that condition so you always have the silver content. And its a great starter piece in a type set and can always be upgraded later on you can't go wrong for $9.

Yeah, I would have saved up and gotten one in better condition, personally, but you certainly didn't overspend on this one.

The coin is over 150 years old... Who could have held it? Where could it have been? You paid 9 bucks for it... I think that is awesome! You can't get a decent pizza for 9 bucks!
