Hi guys! I bought an 1853 AG Rays and arrows STD Quarter. Do you think I got a good deal for nine dollars? Apparently there's a die rotation error. Is that a big deal, or no?
Good deal and the die rotation is not a factor. Sound investment? Lets say you won't loose money. I wouldn't consider an AG coin an investment piece. Nice to have in any collection though.
Yea since you didn't pay more than spot you got a reasonable deal, the coin has little numismatic value in that condition so you always have the silver content. And its a great starter piece in a type set and can always be upgraded later on you can't go wrong for $9.
The coin is over 150 years old... Who could have held it? Where could it have been? You paid 9 bucks for it... I think that is awesome! You can't get a decent pizza for 9 bucks!
