But, if you're going to be picky, then: a) 1967 dollar. b) 2012 HMS Shannon $2 circulation coin. I'm a big fan of this coin. It's a model for how they should design $2 coins. Thomas Shingles had a first rate artistic sensibility to go with his technical skills. There's a good article about him in the September 2012 issue of the Canadian Numismatic Journal. I bought an uncirculated 5-pack, hoping that the ship-design will draw a slight premium in the future (if history repeats itself, the good ol' coins & bills with some sort of a ship-design always seem to be crowd favourites!!)
