I just ordered the 66 quarters for 16.50. I'll let everyone know how it goes. I didn't click to agree to anything and the only policy I saw was the private policy. There's going to be a big full color catalog to advertise stuff. If they send other coins (besides the 4 bicentennial pennies) I'm not paying for them.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Littleton. I have ordered 3 of these sort of deals (now 4 counting this one) and have had no trouble. We should keep a thread like this going and add new codes that we get.
Now someone will post a link to a thread that is just that...

Another "catch" with these two deals is that the mintmarks are random (you get "one coin per design"). If you could get the 20 Presidential dollars of the 66 Quarters as all "D's" or all "P's", this would be a much more attractive proposition. Edited by DNA

So far, I got my coins, 16.50 in unc quarters, 1999-11, and the 4 bic cents, so I'm up on the deal! I sent back the garbage they tried to sell me. Seriously, $7 worth of collector value for $20. Outrageous.
I cancelled the service on the phone. A bit of a run around, on lady said I had to do it by mail but another let me do it over the phone (there is no form in the package to cancel the on approval service)
THEN! Something odd happened. I got an email about another order of the quarters! I have not been charged, so I hope them come!

I get emails from them offering me these deals every once in a while. I haven't bought anything from them in quite a while, but every few days they send me an email, which I delete.

I am interested in these deals. I signed up just for the flyers. it says that they will send me coins for me to look through with the flyers. I guess ill get to keep them because they didnt take any CC info

So I got the second set of coins that littleton sent me. I'm upset that they charged my card without my consent but the customer service wont offer anything for the mixup except a refund. The 66 quarters deal is actually $16.54 face value for $16.50. So obviously I'm going to simply keep it! All coins unc condition too. It's a great deal, but a lot of hassle to cancel the coins on approval. So in the end I got 2 sets of 1999-2011 quarters and 2 bicentennial lincoln sets (4 cents in each set) And I got it all for $33, $0.08 under FV, but collector value is more. I have seen people sell the exact littleton 66 quarters set for a profit on ebay! |
