Hi all, I just got this at an auction last night. It has the wide rim and I believe it is also the 1 over 1 variety. Any help on grading it would be appreciated. Thanks.

EF 40-45. The coin will have to be examined in hand to determine the scratches. If there are a lot of parallel scratches, then it is definitly cleaned. If it is just a lot of random scratches, then its just a lot of random scratches. If it wasn't for the scratches, it could go for AU. Its a nice $125 coin. What did you get it for?

Including 10% buyers fee and sales tax I paid $56.50. There weren't many bidders for coins at this sale so I managed to pick up what I'm hoping were some decent bargains.

You got a great deal on a sort of rare coin in great shape.. I would give it almost AU but going with EF-45 at least.

It may have been lightly cleaned at one time but still very nice.
