Hi there I graded this coin EF 45 could you give me a indication of how close or how far off the mark I am, as I don't have any other US coins to grade this one against.

Your two or three grades high at EF-45,, once the cheek and beard(Jaw line)start to show flat spots the best that the coin can grade is VF-30,, this coin also shows some flattening of the temple and hair above the ear and some wear on the shoulder,, I would put this coin at about VF-25/30 since the reverse is a bit stronger and that helps to a small degree to hold the grade.
