I read where someone said you could use store bought alkaline batteries to power an older Whites Spectrum XT like the one I have.

Seeing the original battery pack seems to be getting a bit worse, I am looking for a solution. Batteries Plus may be an option, but I was wondering if anyone here knew how to use the alkalines.

Also, I did pick up a new pair or Sony headphones today which I plan on adding to my machine when detecting.

What's up, Kenscott!? I'm from JFK roll hunters forum.

I didn't know you MD'd! I'm totally new, don't even have my machine yet.

Any recommendations?

Thanks bud
