I just got this one at an estate auction a couple of days ago. There was hardly anyone bidding on the coins there so I managed to get what I think were some good bargains. I paid $2.49 for this Buffalo. Not sure if it would make MS but I'm happy anyways.

For $2.49, you got a deal.

I can't rule out MS from the photo, but I sort of doubt it. Interesting how it ALMOST has a fully split tail yet there are weaknesses in the date, in LIBERTY and with the hindmost leg. It's a neat coin and a GREAT deal for $2.49!

I wouldn't think the weakness in LIBERTY would be classified as wear - but it is a bit atypical for a Philly coin.

But even at AU it's a huge bargain.
